Terms of Use

1. Account and Identity

The App is provided under an anonymous device identity; no phone number or real name is required. You may delete your account via the in-app entry. After deletion, we will erase your identity information in accordance with the Privacy Policy and take your published spores offline.

2. Creatures and Virtual Items

• Each creature is generated locally by an algorithm from a random seed; its appearance, ID number and genetic fingerprint are deterministic and unique, but remain in-app virtual content;
• Creature IDs and transfer records are in-app virtual identifiers and entertainment records, and do not constitute any real-world ownership, currency, security or investment vehicle;
• We do not provide and do not endorse any buying, selling or speculation of creature IDs for real-world currency. Any such transaction is a user's personal act, undertaken at their own risk, and is unrelated to the App;
• The App may adjust or enrich creature forms and features at any time, without promising that any specific form or benefit will remain unchanged forever.

3. Glimmlet Plus Subscription (Auto-Renewal)

• Price and period: as displayed in the App Store, billed per calendar month;
• Auto-renewal: unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, the subscription renews automatically and is charged on expiry;
• How to cancel: manage or cancel in iOS "Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions"; the App cannot cancel on your behalf;
• Restore purchases: after switching devices or reinstalling, tap "Restore Purchases" on the paywall;
• Refunds: subscriptions are processed by Apple; refund requests must be made to Apple under Apple's refund policy; the App cannot issue refunds directly;
• Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. User Conduct and Content

• You are responsible for your own conduct and must not use the App to publish or distribute unlawful, infringing, harassing, pornographic, violent or discriminatory content;
• If you publish a spore publicly, you are responsible for its displayed content;
• We provide report and block mechanisms, and will take down violating content and restrict or ban violating accounts.

5. Gifting and Transfers

You can gift a creature to others via a "gene code", or claim one from others. Once a transfer completes, ownership shifts and the record is written into the creature's Digital ID. Please only exchange with people you trust; disputes arising from misdirected gifts or fraud shall be resolved between the users involved.

6. Intellectual Property

The App's interface, algorithms, copy and the appearance assets of algorithm-generated creatures are owned by, or licensed to, Taiyuan Hanhai Xinsi Technology Co., Ltd. Your rights in respect of creatures within the App are only the non-exclusive, account-bound entertainment rights of use set out in these Terms.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided "as is", with no express or implied warranty of continuity, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation;
• To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for service interruptions or data loss caused by network, device, system or force majeure events;
• The "uniqueness" of creature IDs is guaranteed by algorithms and verification mechanisms, but the App makes no commitment as to any subjective valuation (such as "rarity").

8. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time; material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China. Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, they shall be submitted to a people's court with jurisdiction where the operator is located.
