Welcome to XingFanLe (the "App"), a casual puzzle game. We take your personal information and privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the App, how we use, store and protect it, and the rights you have. Please read it carefully before using the App.
To provide the game service, we collect the following information as you use the App:
To identify your account and save game progress, the App generates and stores a stable device identifier in the app sandbox (UserDefaults) on first launch. It is formatted as "ios_" followed by a random UUID (e.g. ios_xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx). This identifier serves as the primary key of your server-side account and is used for login, and for binding and syncing your progress and points. It is not derived from the IDFA or IDFV and cannot be used to track you across other apps.
You may set a nickname in the "Me" section (default "星星旅行者"/"Star Traveler"), which is used to display your identity in the App.
The chapters and levels you have completed, together with your game records, are saved on our server so they can be synced across devices and resumed later.
Your points balance and last check-in date (last_sign_date) are recorded to power the check-in, rewards and points-redemption features.
When the network is unavailable, the App stores your progress and a default points balance (default 10 points) locally in UserDefaults to enable offline play; it is synced with the server once you are back online. Local data stays on your device and is not uploaded automatically.
We use the information solely to: provide, maintain and improve the game service; complete account identification and login; save your game progress, points and check-ins; provide customer support; and comply with applicable laws. We do not use your personal information for unrelated commercial purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. Except in the following cases, we do not disclose it to third parties: (1) with your prior explicit consent; (2) to comply with laws, court orders or valid legal process from competent authorities; (3) where necessary to protect the App, other users or the public's legitimate rights and safety. Your data is stored in a database deployed by the operator and hosted by our technical hosting provider under agreed physical and network isolation.
We transmit your data over HTTPS and store it in access-controlled server databases. We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure or alteration. Please keep your device secure to avoid information leakage caused by loss or unauthorized use.
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the service. After you close your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Under applicable data-protection laws (such as China's PIPL), you have the right to access and correct your personal information, to delete it, and to withdraw your consent. You may contact us via the email at the end of this policy, and we will respond and act within a reasonable period.
The App is a casual puzzle game intended for users of all ages. We attach great importance to the protection of minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the required age (e.g. under 14 in China, under 16 in the EU, under 13 in the US, depending on the applicable jurisdiction) without parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected a child's personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
The App does not integrate any advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or third-party social login (e.g. WeChat login is not connected). The only backend service is deployed and maintained by the operator.
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify you through an appropriate in-app method (such as a popup or notice) and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Please review it periodically.
